30,000 Indians trapped in Cyber Slavery

Big update in Cyber scams. Nearby 30,000 Indians are missing after they went foreign countries in tourist visa. Furthermore it is been expected that they became cyber slave. In addition they are likely been forced to become cyber frauds.

Under Home ministry BOI has made a report. According to them in Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar and Vietnam in between January 2022 to May 2024 more than 73,138 Indian visited in visitor visa.

Thousands of people didn’t came back

According to data 29,466 people didn’t came back. Furthermore 17,115 people are of age in between 20-39. It means half of the people went there and didn’t came back are young. Moreover according to Indian Express report 90% of people were male.

States were most people went

The Indian who left are mostly from Punjab, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu. There count are 3,667 from Punjab. 3,233 are from Maharashtra and 3,124 are from Tamil Nadu. Other state people are not much. Moreover there are expectations that they are been forced to become cyber frauds and do scams against Indian in India. They have been given greed to get a job there.

What is Cyber Slavery?

Lastly this people have been forcefully pressurize and convert them into Cyber Fraud. In addition this frauds this people are made to do scams in different platform mostly on social media. As they can speak local language so they are hired. Mostly innocent people get trapped in this scams and loose there lacs of Rupees.

According to Indian Express report, Centre government told all states to get all the details of this people. Furthermore they have conducted high level meeting. Government are planning to stop this scams as early as possible.
